YAK Agency Wins DMO Creative Tender for Tourism Promotion in Padua

YAK Agency has won the contract bid issued by Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for digital strategy and management of the Padua Convention Bureau, which is in partnership with Chamber of Commerce Padua and Province and Municipality of Padua promoting business tourism in the city and province of Padua.

 

The agency founded by Giovanni Cecolin and Marco Dalla Dea will create digital strategy for the project by redesigning the website, creating contents and implementing digital marketing campaigns fully in line with DMO’s mission. On one hand, the agency will facilitate the development of tourism industry in Padua; on the other hand, the project aims to promote 50 affiliates of the organisation, including tour operators, accommodation facilities and convention venues.

 

To meet the goals of the organisation, YAK Agency has not only developed a winning creative idea, but also conducted marketing research, a preliminary analysis of competition and of the interests and preferences of existing and target audience. 

 

What we found from the study helped us develop a strategy focused on Web 2.0 technologies along with neat and attractive design which can be visually appealing to users while meeting their specific needs. The project also incorporates the development of an internal search engine based on the latest data storage technologies, providing an easy way for personalised solutions.

 

User experience was another highlight of the project. To promote the region, we strive to present great travel ideas to tourists inspiring them to explore around during their stay. Additionally, each digital platform is responsive and adaptable to mobile phones in order to meet the needs of smartphone users.  

 

The project involves 7 professionals in the agency. In addiction to the account manager and project manger, the contribution also comes from our marketing specialist, web strategist, senior web developer, graphic designer and copywriter.
