YAK Agency supports the first Tigotà Spring Run in favor of the Sant'Orsola Foundation of Bologna

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, the YAK Agency team contributed to the organization of the first edition of the Tigotà Spring Run, a non-competitive race promoted by Tigotà and sponsored by the Municipality of Bologna to support the Sant'Orsola Foundation and the establishment of the Women's Oncology Day Hospital at the Bologna Polyclinic.

An event of sports and solidarity, featuring a 6 km route designed to welcome runners of all ages and levels of preparation, to which the agency collaborated alongside Tigotà in all stages of preparation and execution of the event, from organization to on-site event management, from artistic direction to the creation of all communication materials.

Thousands of people, including paying runners (over 700), supporters, and spectators, gathered at the Giardini Margherita on Sunday morning to participate in the event. All proceeds (10 euros per participant) were donated to the charitable cause. Tigotà chose than to supplement the donation, reaching a total of 10,000 euros.

"Thanks to Tigotà and the Municipality of Bologna for this wonderful day that provides concrete help for the realization of the new Women's Oncology Day Hospital in Bologna," said Stefano Vezzani, Director of the Sant'Orsola Policlinic Foundation Onlus, from the stage. "Thanks to this contribution, we will also create a point of reference for the treatment of female cancers, as well as a welcoming space, full of light and color, for many women who are facing a difficult journey."

"We are happy to have conceived and organized this event in Bologna, an important city for our company," said Marco Scattolin, Marketing Manager of Tigotà. "Tigotà's mission has always been to help people take care of themselves and their homes: with this charity run, we wanted to help those who everyday dedicate themselves to caring for the less fortunate."

Roberta Li Calzi, the Sports Councillor of the Municipality of Bologna, also completed the full 6 km run. "Bologna reaffirms itself as a city of sports and solidarity. We are truly thrilled about this event, and I sincerely thank the women and men of Bologna who joined us to experience a morning of well-being together, outdoors in this beautiful park, in support of a project that is truly so important to all of us."
