From March 3rd to 11th, a team from YAK Agency will be involved in covering the Boxing world Olympic qualifier “Boxing Road to Paris 1st Wolrd Qualification Tournament” held in Busto Arsizio, Varese, at the E-Work Arena, in the outskirts of Milan.
The tournament is part of the series of qualification events for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, which has already seen YAK Agency involved in Dakar (Senegal), the European Games in Krakow (Poland), the Asian Games in Hangzhou (China), the Pan American Games in Santiago (Chile), and the Pacific Games in Honiara (Solomon Islands).
Over 600 boxers from 113 nations will step into the ring in Busto Arsizio, aiming to secure the 49 coveted Olympic qualification spots available across 13 different weight categories.
The agency will then continue following the best boxers of the world at the second world qualification tournament in Bangkok, Thailand, in May of this year, and then at the Paris 2024 Games for the grand finale, the Paris 2024 Boxing Finals, that will be hosted at Roland Garros, the temple of tennis, which will transform into the stage for Olympic boxing for a few days in August 2024.
YAK Agency - which works for the International Olympic Committee - supervise PR, Media Operations, and on-field coordination between the various comms entities involved.
