Entrusted to YAK Agency the communication of Padua Marathon 2021

The services of graphic design, social media management and live coverage of the 2021 edition of the historic marathon were entrusted to the Agency of Marco Dalla Dea e Giovanni Cecolin.

Padua, 23.09.2021 - It’s YAK Agency that has been chosen by Assindustria Sport to take care of  Padova Marathon 2021 communication. Scheduled for Sunday, September 26, the race includes a full schedule of events and initiatives aimed at enhancing the area and bringing to the streets of the Venetian city the great sporting event back.

In addition to the half marathon of 21 km - starting at 8.30 am from Abano Terme - Assindustria Sport has decided to create a special edition proposing also new two races: a competitive road race of 10 km called "Rise and Run", departing at 10.30 am from Padua, and the 5 km "stracittadina", a non-competitive race starting at noon in Prato della Valle with a limited number of participants – the maximum number is 5 thousand.

The races have the same finish line as the competitive races. In a collaboration that started at the beginning of the season, YAK Agency has taken care of the study and implementation of the event branding: it designed the new visual "Rise and Run" that has been declined in all materials, such as flyers, posters, brochures, route maps, passes, bibs, jerseys, totems. The aim was to create a coordinated and recognizable graphic. The Agency has also taken care of the management of social channels – Facebook and Instagram – for which it has developed an editorial strategy dedicated to the three different phases of the event: the pre-event, with the aim of both pushing registrations and telling the path toward the event, and enhancing sponsors, organizer and territory; the live coverage, to document the scheduled races; the post-event, to report the most significant moment and keep the fan base alive.

In addition to the community management activities, YAK Agency was responsible for setting up digital advertising campaigns to encourage registrations and increase the interest for the event. The Agency's task was also to take care of a digital customer care activity in order to respond in an accurate, comprehensive, and timely manner to respond to user information requests. The Agency, which supported Assindustria Sport in the organization of the World Athletics Meeting City of Padua last September 5, will follow the event live to create professional multimedia content.
