On Saturday, July 17, the Padua-based agency covered the fifth edition of the mountain bike race that crosses the spectacular Dolomite scenery of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Last weekend, the Queen of the Dolomites hosted the fifth Cortina Trophy organized by A.S.D. Cortina Experience, a unique event for mountain biking enthusiasts both for the striking scenery the race crosses and for the high technical level tracks proposed. Over 500 registered athletes were able to choose between two routes: the ‘Marathon’ of 77.21 km with 2476 m of elevation gain and the ‘Classic’ of 48.67 km with 1302 m of elevation gain.
A team from YAK Agency was on site to produce photographic content and provide live coverage and reporting of the event. In the months leading up to the race, the agency worked on brand awareness, registration promotion, enhancement of the event's sponsorships and coordination of the effort of local promotional entities. It was also in charge of managing the event's official social channels to provide athletes with all the technical and organizational information and to share exclusive testimonials about the champions.
From start to finish, the women's race was dominated by Chiara Burato, while in the men's competition it was Marco Rebagliati ranked first place, reaching the finish line in Piazza Italia in 3 hours 56 minutes and 2 seconds.
