When Airwheel decided to land in Europe, an exclusive distributor for the Italian market was selected. The assignment was to create a brand image specific for Italy. They needed to develop a platform to sell products, drive salesforce and increase brand awareness to present at trade shows.
Why was the ecommerce and website design so crucial for Airwheel Italia? First, to spread the Airwheel philosophy about silent and no-pollution transport; on the other side, providing detailed information about products and their features is vital to sell them, driving a well-equipped salesforce across the nation.
When it comes to building a brand image from scratch, you can’t stay away from social media, where a daily conversation help brands connect with a fan base which expands as long as you feed them with good contents and manage proper adv campaigns.
To make Airwheel seem appealing we decided to associate the brand to an industry that shares the same values. Weeks before EICMA in Milan, we created and distributed print ads with coupons that were published on Motosprint, a successful way to gain attention.
During the EICMA in 2015, the most important motorcycling event in the world held every year in Milan, we went side by side with Airwheel as it made his symbolic entrance in the Italian market. What stands out was our press office activities on site, directly connecting with industry’s journalists and distributing a customized media kit to help the company gain visibility on various media.
At the time of the event, we also designed a brochure to be distributed among visitors. It was designed to give an overall view on Airwheel vehicles and their features, while on the backside there was a 10% discount coupon to be used at Airwheel Italia’s stand.
