YAK Agency remains committed overseas to closely cover the Olympic boxing qualification tournament, Boxing Road to Paris. This time, the stage is set in the capital of Chile, Santiago, hosting the 19th edition of the Pan American Games. There are 174 boxers from 26 countries and an independent team who will step into the ring across 13 weight categories, 7 for men and 6 for women, with the significant goal of securing one of the 30 Olympic spots available for the American continent.
With this event, running from October 19th to 28th, the extensive qualification journey towards Paris 2024 reaches its fourth milestone. The Boxing Road to Paris path includes five continental tournaments and two final world qualifiers, all aimed at selecting the top 248 boxers worldwide who will have the privilege to compete in the forthcoming Olympics.
In this context, YAK Agency plays a key role in managing event communication, handling press operations, press office, and relations with international media. This responsibility has been entrusted to us through our longstanding collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which, since 2019, has assigned YAK Agency the task of managing communication before, during, and after all the boxing qualification events, initially for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and now for the new Olympic cycle leading to Paris 2024.
Our commitment abroad will continue in a few weeks with the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands, the final continental qualification stage. This time, it will be the turn of the best boxers from the Oceanian continent to compete and pursue the dream of representing their nation at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
