For the third year, the agency of Marco Dalla Dea e Giovanni Cecolin has taken care of the communication of Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike, one of the most popular mountain bike events in the world.

The Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike started from Villabassa in the heart of the Dolomites on Saturday, July 10. The legendary race has been taking place every year since 1995 and has involved thousands of professional and amateur mountain bikers. The two very demanding but unique routes - the longest one of 123 km with an altitude difference of 3,400 meters, the other one of 60 km with an altitude difference of 1,570 meters - find themselves in the presence of the impressive Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Creation of photo and video content, sponsor relationship management for digital communication and Social Media Management in three languages (Italian, English and German) are the activities that YAK Agency worked on during the 26th edition of the competition that gave emotions to 3,000 bikers this year. Throughout the months leading up to the race, the agency took care of the social communication of the event with a two-fold task: in terms of marketing and communication, YAK Agency worked on brand awareness, registrations promotion, enhancement of the event sponsorships and coordination of the efforts undertaken by territorial promotion authorities while in terms of the event management, it took care of the communication channels to provide the athletes with all the technical and organizational information, such as hospitality, merchandising, schedule and introduce the top riders competing.

During the event, YAK Agency reported live the course of the race and all the side events scheduled. A team of journalists, photographers and video makers of the agency, that has been in Villabassa (BZ) for three days, collected stories and testimonies of the protagonists. It also created exclusive content based on the champions, including the Colombian Hector Leonardo Paez Leon and the Swiss Ariane Lüthi, winners of the 123 km race, and on the present guests.

"After a year's forced stoppage due to the pandemic, we are very happy to be back in the heart of the Puster Valley to take care of the communication of a historic and spectacular race, that fascinates many bikers. For the third time, the team accepted the challenge with enthusiasm and worked in synergy with the sponsors of the event and the local authorities to coordinate the communication efforts. In doing so, it confirms itself as a reference point for right holders, brands and athletes of sporting events.” say Marco Dalla Dea and Giovanni Cecolin, Managing Partner of YAK Agency.
