Padova Jazz Festival chooses YAK Agency for the communication of the 2018 edition

Marco Dalla Dea and Giovanni Cecolin’s agency in charge of the graphics, website restyling and digital communication of the 21st edition of the festival dedicated to international jazz musicians.

Padova, 10.05.2018 - A new music project for YAK Agency’s team, who has been working with the Cultural Association Miles on Padova Jazz Festival for months on the cultural event that will be held in Padua from October the 13th to November the 24th 2018.

The 2018 edition will be an “expanded” one, completely renewed as far as look and length are concerned: in comparison to the traditional format, indeed, which condensed the event in only one week, this year the Festival will bring jazz music to the city for more than a month, thanks to a rich calendar including over 40 events and internationally renowned artists. Chick Corea, John Scofield, Enrico Rava, Joe Lovano and Pat Martino are only a few of the outstanding names that will perform on the stages of the main theaters of the city (Verdi and MPX),  but the program also includes the performance of young American and Italian artists, representatives of classic swing as well as avant-garde jazz, and the live events of Jazz@Bar, which will take place in several clubs and bars in the city center and surroundings.

Organized by the Cultural Association Miles, led by Gabriella Piccolo Casiraghi with the support of the Culture Department of the Municipality of Padua, the Festival will be presented to the city during the opening event on Saturday the 13th of October, when the Magicaboola Brass Band will bring on the city streets a performance characterized by a contamination of jazz, blues, ethnic music, hip hop, funk and folk. “For the edition coming next to the 20th anniversary, I felt the need for a change in communication. For this reason I decided to renew also the image of Padova Jazz Festival - claims Gabriella Piccolo Casiraghi - I met YAK Agency and its young and creative team and decided to commission them to deal with the restyling of the website and the presentation of a cultural event that is considered as one of the most important ones in Padua. I am satisfied of the result achieved also on social platforms, where it is extremely important to appear”.

After having worked on the creation of the new coordinated image (logo and visual contents), YAK Agency has realized all the communication and creative materials for the Festival and has completely redesigned the official portal www.padovajazz.com, which has been optimized for a fast and multi-device use. Moreover, the agency will manage the social channels and the contents of the website to give information and updates on the rich event calendar, managing also the production and release of promotional materials.
